About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to work with students in a school in Romsey. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide personalized guidance and encouragement to students, fostering their growth and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with learning needs, implementing individualized education plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to ensure effective support.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and engagement.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic support system.
Requirements
  • Willingness to work with students in a one-on-one setting and in small groups who have learning difficulties.
  • Ability to arrange educational activities based on student proficiency with assistance from a teacher.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Development of social skills and assistance with individual needs.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Providing counseling and academic help.
  • Experience working with young individuals with special needs is preferred.
