We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team at Motorsport-Total GmbH. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our business plan.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and procedures to support the production of new models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including concept design and engineering teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, and implement best practices to improve delivery times and plant efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Hours Per Car (HPC) data for new model introductions, ensuring plant efficiency and output targets can be achieved.
- Work with Engineering and Operations teams to design and implement new or amended layouts and material flow to support new models.
- Support and influence cross-functional business activities, including concept/design reviews, engineering release delivery, and DFMEA.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/automotive engineering or similar field.
- Experience in planning and execution of new vehicle programs, complex vehicle systems, and vehicle assembly processes.
- Strong understanding of trim and final processes, end-of-line vehicle processing/finishing, and specification and procurement of assembly equipment.
- Ability to identify resolutions for product-related issues and ensure all quality targets are achieved.
- Implementation of safe working practices and a positive attitude with strong work ethics.
