The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of the Wolverhampton site, working closely with the Managing Director and group CFO.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Finance and Operations leader to head up the finance operation at our client's Wolverhampton site.

\

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for managing the completion of monthly management accounts, streamlining processes, and making recommendations for improvement.

\

Your key responsibilities will include:

\
  • \
  • Producing accurate and comprehensive financial information for the group\
  • Completing end-to-end audits of the finance team\
  • Maintaining records of financial performance and analysing data to identify trends and opportunities for growth\
  • Identifying and acting upon late payments\
  • Ensuring that financial systems and software are up-to-date and functioning correctly\
  • Implementing and enforcing data protection policies\
  • Gathering accurate employee information and verifying time and attendance\
  • Calculating salaries and wages based on established payroll policies\
  • Ensuring accurate calculation and withholding of taxes and other deductions\
  • Acting as the main point of contact for HR-related issues\
  • Serving as a liaison between employees and outsourced HR consultants\\/ul>\

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience working in an SME business, ideally within manufacturing. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.
