Job Title: Commis Chef

Location: Arla Westbury

Working Hours: 27 hours per week, rotating shift pattern including weekend breakfast service shifts

Estimated Salary: £75 per hour

Job Description:

We're seeking a passionate and creative Commis Chef to join our team at Arla Westbury. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll work with fresh ingredients to create daily menus that showcase Gather & Gather's concept or classic dishes with a street food twist.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation: Prepare and oversee all food preparation to the highest standard, using seasonal ingredients sourced locally where possible.
  2. Kitchen Operations: Support with accepting kitchen deliveries and storing stock.
  3. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
  4. Compliance: Understand and comply with company and statutory health, hygiene, and safety standards, including COSHH and HACCP.
