Adult Social Care Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor to join our team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will be required to take on a varied caseload, including Court of Protection applications, deprivation of liberty, ordinary residence, mental capacity queries, and providing general legal advice in relation to adult social care and mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of adult social care cases, including Court of Protection applications and deprivation of liberty
  • Provide legal advice on mental capacity queries and ordinary residence
  • Work with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of adult social care services
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to adult social care

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in adult social care law
  • Strong knowledge of Court of Protection procedures and mental capacity legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
