Adult Social Care Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor to join our team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will be required to take on a varied caseload, including Court of Protection applications, deprivation of liberty, ordinary residence, mental capacity queries, and providing general legal advice in relation to adult social care and mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take on a varied caseload, including Court of Protection applications, deprivation of liberty, ordinary residence, mental capacity queries, and providing general legal advice in relation to adult social care and mental health.
  • Work closely with local authorities, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation in court, as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in adult social care law.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Care Act 2014.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
