Protect Our Pool Patrons

We are seeking a Water Safety Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health Shipley Fitness and Wellbeing Centre. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members while they enjoy our swimming pool facilities.

The ideal candidate will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and have experience in providing ongoing training records. You should possess bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £24,980.80 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience, and a range of benefits including a season ticket loan, physiotherapy, private healthcare, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Help our members stay safe and healthy while using our wet side facilities
  • Be attentive and alert at all times
  • Create a friendly, relaxed, and professional environment
  • Welcome and support members when using the facilities
  • Prioritize pool safety and respond to any incidents immediately
