Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join our Positive Behaviour, Autism, Learning Disability, Mental Health Service (PALMS) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping children and young people achieve their ambitions and lead happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing comprehensive assessments, intervention/review reports, and discharge plans for children and young people referred to the PALMS Team.
  • Formulating and implementing plans for the formal intervention and/or management of children and young people presenting difficulties, including challenging behaviors, toileting, feeding, sleeping concerns, problematic sexualized behavior, and/or mental health difficulties.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology.
  • HCPC Registered.
