Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our CAMHS South team. As a senior clinician, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service that promotes the mental health and wellbeing of our service users. This will involve providing supervision to junior clinicians, undertaking risk assessments, and developing and implementing care plans.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in clinical psychology, who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work with children and young people of all ages and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to children and young people with complex mental health needs
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service
- Provide supervision to junior clinicians
- Undertake risk assessments and develop and implement care plans
- Contribute to the development of the service and its policies and procedures
- Postgraduate doctorate in clinical psychology or its equivalent
- Full registration with the Health Professions Council
- At least two years' experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
