Job Title: EHS Officer

A key role in our company's commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EHS Officer to join our team in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.

As an EHS Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK EHS legislation and regulations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest standards in GMP and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Lead investigations, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits, maintain records, and support third-party audits.
  • Manage digital EHS systems, compile monthly reports, and track performance.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs.
  • Assist in the development and communication of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Monitor and manage environmental aspects, ensure compliance, and promote sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and EHS audits.
  • Proficiency in using digital EHS management systems and tools.
