Job Title: Materials Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Manager to join our team at a leading manufacturer of precision parts for the aerospace industry. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing raw material purchases and ensuring inventory targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage raw material purchases and E&O in line with inventory targets.
  • Review SOP and financial impact in conjunction with the Planning Manager.
  • Prepare work order launch plan, in conjunction with Planning Manager, to support customer deliveries and production plans.
  • Carry out any other duty as requested by the Senior Management Team.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Well-organized and possess strong numerical skills with the ability to analyze data effectively and propose solutions to problems.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, using own initiative.
  • Outstanding knowledge with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, alongside good IT skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in production and material planning.
  • Demand planning.
  • Project management.
  • Customer account management.
