Job Summary
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Delfryn. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting the independence and well-being of our residents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide physical and emotional support, helping our residents to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and encouragement to residents to promote their independence and self-confidence.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist residents with their daily living needs, including personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Support residents to participate in activities and outings, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
- Monitor and report on resident's health and well-being, identifying any concerns or issues that may require further support.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to our policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and caring approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and external agencies.
- No previous care experience required, as full training will be provided.
