About the Role:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sub-contractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality projects safely, efficiently, and within budget. You will work closely with the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure a consistent and proactive approach to health and safety on site. This includes managing hazards and risks, ensuring all contractors and visitors are thoroughly inducted onto sites, and monitoring the progress of project programmes. You will also be responsible for building an understanding of project budgets to drive efficiencies and overseeing contractor performance.

Our client is a regional main contractor with a strong reputation for providing whole-life solutions, high standards of project delivery, and an ability to innovate. They have a diversified workload across different sectors, including industrial, commercial, retail, and more. With a turnover of c£70 million, they have a range of projects valued up to £20 million, covering various sectors.

About You:

We are looking for a Site Manager with experience working for a main contractor on schemes valued £5m+. You should have experience in diverse sectors, new build and refurbishment, and managing sub-contractors effectively. You will also need to have SMSTS and First Aid qualifications, a CSCS card, and a degree or HND qualification or a trades background.
