Maths and Science Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths, English, or Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with complex needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and childhood trauma.
Our learners require dedicated, in-person support to achieve academic success, and we are looking for a Tutor who can provide high-quality tuition in a flexible and engaging manner.
Key Responsibilities- Create lesson plans and deliver tuition that is designed to engage, inspire, and teach.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with learner guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
- Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
- Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
- Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
- A commitment to safeguarding.
- Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
