We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Paraplanner in our Winchester office.

About the Opportunity:

This is an excellent chance to launch your career in Financial Planning and progress to a Financial Planner role. You will be responsible for conducting research and analysis of products and funds, preparing cashflow forecasts and financial plans, liaising with clients, shadowing Independent Financial Advisers, portfolio management, attending client meetings, writing suitability reports, and assisting Paraplanners and Financial Advisers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify suitable investment opportunities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed financial plans to meet client needs
  • Liaise with clients to understand their objectives and requirements
  • Work closely with experienced Independent Financial Advisers to gain valuable insights and knowledge
  • Manage client portfolios effectively to maximize returns and minimize risk
  • Attend client meetings to provide expert guidance and advice
  • Write comprehensive suitability reports to inform investment decisions
  • Support Paraplanners and Financial Advisers in delivering exceptional client service

You Will Require:

  • Degree in a related subject such as Finance, Investment, or Economics
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of financial planning software
  • Eager to learn and develop your skills and expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent numeracy skills and ability to analyze complex data
