Company Overview:

An independent Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Winchester is seeking a graduate to join their team as a Junior Paraplanner.

About the Role:

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a graduate to kickstart their career in Financial Planning. The role will involve conducting research and analysis of products and funds, complete cashflow forecasts and financial plans, liaising with clients, shadowing Independent Financial Advisers, portfolio management, attending client meetings, writing suitability reports, and assisting Paraplanners and Financial Advisers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of products and funds
  • Prepare accurate cashflow forecasts and financial plans
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and goals
  • Shadow experienced Independent Financial Advisers to gain valuable insights
  • Manage client portfolios effectively
  • Attend client meetings to provide expert guidance
  • Write comprehensive suitability reports
  • Assist Paraplanners and Financial Advisers in delivering exceptional client service

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related subject such as Finance, Investment, or Economics
  • Technical skills and knowledge of financial planning software
  • Eager to learn and develop your skills and expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent numeracy skills and ability to analyze complex data
