Senior Project Engineer

Navartis Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing various projects at different stages of the GRIP life cycle, including preparing feasibility studies, design management, and providing technical support to live construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from feasibility studies to design management and construction.
- Provide technical support to live construction projects.
- Support the Engineering Manager in overseeing the engineering department and all aspects of projects.
- Develop and implement robust Engineering Assurance Processes for project management.
- Grow a Design Delivery team to enable in-house design development.
- Undertake staff appraisals and identify training and development requirements.
- Act as Delegated Engineer to support the development of other engineers.
- Provide ongoing support and set up support mechanisms for Project Engineers.
- Report to the Engineering Director on project progress.
Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualification.
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in project engineering.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary projects in the railway sector.
- A working knowledge of the railway environment and engineering practices.
- Able to write, check, and finalize technical reports.
- Able to support junior engineers in producing text and drawings.
- Experience of undertaking reviews of site engineering work and reviewing contractors' build against design drawings.
- Able to bring own ideas on way of working to the engineering team.
- A Post Grad Civil Engineering or Rail Systems Degree or similar relevant qualification.
- Full Driving licence, CSCS card, and PTS.
