Job Title: Senior Clean Utilities Engineer

At Integrated Project Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clean Utilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing clean utilities systems for our pharmaceutical clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop clean utilities systems, including water for injection (WFI), purified water (PW), clean steam (CS), and process vacuum systems.
  • Develop project execution plans, including budget, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project managers to determine project scope, complexity, and schedule.
  • Assist clients in strategic evaluations to develop concepts supported by engineering studies.
  • Write scope of work for process, utilities, and manufacturing controls based on preliminary reviews with the client.
  • Complete design deliverables, including process flow diagrams, material and energy balances, and process P&IDs.
  • Ensure completion of quality specifications and performance data sheets for process equipment and instrumentation.
  • Make use of company design tools, including process simulation and smart P&IDs.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and members of the IPS design team.
Requirements:
  • Clean utility design and operations experience in pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or relevant Engineering.
  • Knowledge of system design, applicable codes, and cGMPs as they affect process design and equipment specification.
  • Previous experience independently designing CIP/SIP, purified water (PW) systems, water for injection (WFI) systems, clean steam (CS) systems, process vacuum systems, clean air systems, and/or Pharma & Biopharma wastewater treatment systems.
  • AutoCAD for central utility drawing preparation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • REVIT or Smart P&ID.
