**Job Title:** Hydraulic Systems Engineer

**About the Role:**

Penguin Recruitment is looking for an experienced Flood Risk and Drainage Specialist to join their team based in Bristol. This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the chance to work on a wide range of projects, including Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management, and Drainage Strategies.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for completing technical work including:

  1. Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3
  2. Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS
  3. Drainage Strategy development for Planning Applications and Drainage Design using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow

The successful candidate will have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology, or a related field, and experience working in a consultancy or local authority environment.

We are offering a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, a substantial benefits package, and career progression opportunities.
