Electrical Systems Specialist | Up to £50,000 per annum | 40 days annual leave

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. This role will involve setting up standalone machines or entire production lines ready for use and delivering training to operators at customer sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to work away from home and travel globally for up to 3 weeks at a time. Following the installation of machines, you will be responsible for setting them up after installation and working with operators on site. You will have 1 week off before traveling back to the site or another location.

About the Role:
  • Ensure machines are properly connected mechanically, electrically, hydraulically, and pneumatically.
  • Commission the machine based on the Acceptance Protocol, including starting the machine after installation.
  • Check the machine for correct connection of all parts (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software).
  • Perform various test runs for production based on the Acceptance Protocol.
  • Solve technical problems.
  • Record and log all machine parameters at the time of transfer to the customer.
  • Provide instruction and training to machine operators about the operation and maintenance of the machine.
  • Lead and carry out the installation and commissioning of second-hand steel processing machines.
  • Ensure a smooth transfer to the customer and provide clear training so that the customer's operators can work with our machines.
  • Draft a complete report, including safety, quality, and actions to be followed.
