Marine Hull Account Handler

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Handler to join our Marine Hull and War division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, creating open market MRCs, and preparing client documentation accurately following regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts within a subteam of 5, including Brokers and Account Handlers
- Create open market MRCs, facility declaration off-slips, and endorsements
- Prepare client documentation accurately following regulations
- Submit and send MRC slips to Underwriters
- Manage all renewals and adjustments in a timely and professional manner
- Process risks into the in-house broking system
- Generate debit/credit notes to clients and issue closings to underwriters
- Calculate and process premiums across Hull & War Placements
- Address queries effectively and promptly to ensure client and market satisfaction
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in the London Insurance Market within a similar role
- Ability to cope with a busy working environment
- Proficient preparation of MRC slips with attention to detail
- Experience in premium processing
- Working knowledge of placing platforms
- Ability to work 3 days in the office
