About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance on our prestigious contract at AWE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of internal safety and quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve health, safety, and environmental performance, including the development of policies and guidelines.
  • Represent EMCOR UK at stakeholder forums and engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of mutual respect and equity.
  • Produce regular reports on health, safety, quality, environment, and wellbeing performance, using data metrics to drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with AWE's HSEQ&W representatives to ensure mutual trust and respect based on superior service delivery.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ5 in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • CMIOSH or working towards this qualification (advantage).
  • PIEMA or working towards this qualification (advantage).
  • Suitable environmental qualifications commensurate with responsibilities identified.
  • Proven experience working within environmental and sustainability.
  • Thorough knowledge of HSQE systems and processes that meet the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
