University Solicitor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced University Solicitor to join our team at the University of Chichester. As a key member of our Governance and Legal Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance to our staff and students.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience in contract, commercial, and intellectual property law. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the university.

About the Team

You will be reporting to the University Secretary and working closely with our Academic and Professional Services teams. You will be responsible for providing clear and concise advice on legal issues to non-qualified members of staff, and managing a varied and time-pressured workload.
