About the Role
The University of Chichester is seeking a highly skilled and experienced University Solicitor to lead the provision of legal support, advice, and guidance to our professional community. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders across our campuses to deliver an excellent legal compliance service.
About You
We are looking for a qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience in contract, commercial, and intellectual property law. You will be able to advise colleagues through effective communication, inspiring confidence in the University's legal position. Your ability to manage a varied and time-pressured workload while delivering a friendly and agile legal service will be essential.
About the Team
You will report to the University Secretary and work with our Academic and Professional Services teams to provide clear and concise advice on legal issues to non-qualified members of staff. We offer a competitive reward package with a range of staff benefits and discounts, including a defined benefit pension scheme, paid closure period, and on-site gym.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary range of £56,021 to £64,914 per annum pro rata, with a salary of £33,612 per annum to £38,948 per annum.
