Primary Education Assistant - SEN Role:

Vision for Education is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Primary Education Assistant to work with a Catholic primary school in Bootle, Sefton. This SEN role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the life of a child with complex needs.

The school prides itself on its commitment to inclusivity and provides a supportive environment for students with Special Educational Needs. As a member of their team, you will work closely with the teaching staff to deliver tailored support and guidance to the child.

About the Child:

The child requires support with managing challenging behaviour and developing essential life skills. They have a strong desire to learn and grow, but require additional assistance to reach their full potential.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the teacher in creating engaging lesson plans and materials
  • Providing one-to-one support to the child, focusing on behaviour management and personal development
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to ensure comprehensive delivery of educational activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with primary-aged children
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo)
