Care Home Management Professional

Ambler Mace seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Care Home Manager to lead our residential children's home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to children in our care. Your duties will include developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing a team of staff, and collaborating with families and external agencies to support the welfare of our residents.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £43,000 per year, depending on experience, and an annual bonus of up to £5,000. Our comprehensive induction programme includes leadership development opportunities through our in-house Academy. We also provide a range of benefits, including competitive pay, pension, employee assistance service, wellbeing programme, cycle-to-work scheme, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will need to have at least 2 years' experience in children's residential care, with 1 year in a supervisory position. They must also hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or be willing to work towards it within 6 months. A strong understanding of childcare legislation, quality standards, and regulatory requirements is essential. Additionally, they will need experience in managing challenging behaviours and working with children with emotional or social difficulties.
