Job Overview

Vibe Recruit Limited is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team in Blackwood. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production through maintenance of assets, assured technical capabilities, and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

About the Role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for reporting directly to the Projects and Engineering Manager. You will need to have a BTEC Level 3 qualification and experience within a similar role and within a food manufacturing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure input of data on availability of systems to support the Senior Engineer in effectively managing inventory, minimise working capital, and control purchasing.
  • Provide technical advice to problem-solving and innovative solutions.
  • Order and negotiate the price of materials.
Requirements
  • BTEC Level 3 qualification is essential.
  • Good knowledge of technical Health & Safety requirements, e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH.
  • Experience fault finding on PLC/Invertors.
