Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Cinderford. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for interpreting bespoke product specifications and creating 2D and 3D product models using AutoCAD.

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your design skills and work closely with other members of the design team to create innovative solutions for our customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting customer requirements and designing bespoke materials handling equipment
  • Creating 2D and 3D product models using AutoCAD
  • Collaborating with the fabrication team to bring designs to life
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
