We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for Research Projects to join our team at Uag. As a technical lead, you will oversee the development and maintenance of software solutions for various research projects, ensuring they meet the required standards of quality and reliability.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £43,000-£48,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. This is a full-time position, but flexible options will be considered.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design and implementation of software solutions for research projects
  • Coordinating with researchers to identify project requirements and develop software solutions that meet those needs
  • Mentoring junior software developers to ensure they have the necessary skills to deliver high-quality software solutions

To apply for this position, you should have a strong background in software development, ideally with a doctoral degree or significant experience in a research environment. Experience working with frontend/backend web development, machine learning, or high performance computing would be an advantage.
