Project Manager - The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead a pivotal heritage and conservation initiative. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing the project, ensuring its success in preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day execution of the project, ensuring it aligns with the established goals and objectives.
  3. Collaborate with government agencies, local communities, and heritage organisations.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
  5. Lead a dedicated team of professionals, providing guidance and support.
  6. Manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  7. Monitor expenses and financial performance against the budget.
  8. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  9. Proactively address challenges to keep the project on track.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager
  • Essential knowledge of heritage and conservation
  • Strong understanding of government funding processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Heritage Conservation, or a related field.
