Senior Quantity Surveyor

Connectment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will be responsible for the commercial management of contracts and the delivery of profitable performance in line with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of contracts, including the resolution of contractual and commercial issues.
  • Take commercial responsibility for our largest projects and provide support to project managers on smaller projects.
  • Provide commercial input to prequalification and tender documents.
  • Provision of commercial and contractual support to the tendering and bidding process.
  • Manage and govern all aspects of multiple contracts in accordance with commercial procedures and KPIs.
  • Monitor the performance of works, ensuring all deadlines are met and manage commercial disputes.
  • Lead contract commercial reviews and implement progress and cost management reviews.
  • Prepare and present contract-specific progress reports and participate in contract reviews and customer meetings.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, ideally at degree level, and hold professional qualification such as RICS.
  • Experience in a senior level Commercial role, ideally in a similar or related industry, e.g. engineering, construction or rail.
  • Experience of working within a contractor and/or project environment.
  • Full driving licence.
