We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team to support with the monthly payroll activities. The successful candidate will process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
This is a hybrid role aligned to our company's payroll operations.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage Payroll Deductions and Benefits: Accurately manage payroll deductions, benefits, and garnishments.
- Prepare and Distribute Paychecks: Prepare and distribute paychecks, direct deposits, and annual W-2 forms.
- Reconcile Payroll Accounts: Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain Payroll Operations: Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures and reporting required changes.
- Handle Confidential Employee Inquiries: Handle confidential employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate with HR: Coordinate with the HR department to ensure seamless flow of payroll-related information.
- Support Audits: Help with year-end audits and other financial audits related to payroll.
- Payroll Experience: Experience in payroll processing is essential.
- Payroll Software Skills: Some experience in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) combined with good Excel skills.
- Payroll Knowledge: Understanding of payroll processes and laws and regulations.
- Accuracy and Problem-Solving: Accuracy skills and expertise in solving problems.
- Teamwork: Self-reliant and work as part of a team.
- HRIS Experience: Experience with HRIS systems.
