HoughtonLeSpring, Durham, United Kingdom Creative Support Full time

We are looking to expand our team of skilled support staff at Creative Support, a passionate and inclusive organization. Our services focus on providing care to older adults in residential care homes and their own homes in Extra Care settings in Carlisle.

The services we offer aim to promote independence, maintain dignity, encourage inclusion, and support general health and wellbeing in a positive manner. As a Relief Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical support with personal care needs, household tasks, medication, diet, and nutrition. You will also encourage residents to engage with social activities.

To be successful in this role, you must be a warm, caring, and trustworthy individual who is committed to the welfare of others. Due to the range and abilities of service users in the Carlisle area, you will need to have a high level of understanding and empathy to support older adults with dementia.

This is a Relief Support Worker position, which offers flexibility to pick up shifts at a time that suits you. The role is ideal for those with personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities. Experience is essential for our Relief Support Worker roles.

You will be paid on a weekly basis. We value work-life balance and believe that our employees should have the freedom to manage their own schedules. This makes us an attractive employer for those seeking a better balance between work and personal life.

As a dedicated night care assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our service users during nighttime hours. This may include administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and responding to any emergencies that may arise.

In addition to your duties as a relief support worker, you will also be expected to contribute to a positive and respectful team environment. This includes being approachable, empathetic, and professional in all interactions with colleagues and service users.

We offer a competitive salary of £13.75 per hour, reflecting the valuable contributions our employees make to the lives of our service users. We are proud to provide a safe and supportive working environment that values diversity, inclusion, and equality. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
