Aircraft Maintenance Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will support the Senior Licensed Aircraft Engineer in ensuring the safe and timely completion of maintenance activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing allocated aircraft, including daily checks, scheduled maintenance, component changes, rectification and repair, mandatory inspections, reconfiguration of cabin and under wing stores, and aircraft refueling under supervision of the Licensed Aircraft Engineer.

You will also support the rectification of aircraft defects as directed by the Crew Chief, Chief Engineer, or Aircraft Maintenance Manager within the line maintenance or workshop areas.

Additionally, you will manage any materials or company equipment provided for the task and maintain the cleanliness of the working area and aircraft at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily checks and scheduled maintenance on allocated aircraft.
  2. Support the rectification of aircraft defects as directed by the Crew Chief, Chief Engineer, or Aircraft Maintenance Manager.
  3. Manage materials and company equipment provided for the task.
  4. Maintain the cleanliness of the working area and aircraft.
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in technical English (written and spoken).
  2. Willingness to work shift patterns to suit business needs.
  3. Preferably completed an Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or similar, with modules such as English, Maths, and Physics.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines using basic project management skills.
