Senior Care Assistant Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to work in a reputable care home based in the Cumbria area. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to residents in a purpose-built, en-suite accommodation setting.

This care home provides residential and dementia care, and as a Senior Care Assistant, your key duties will include:

  • Leading and inspiring a team of care assistants to provide high-quality care to residents, enabling them to live their later life well.
  • Supporting residents with personal care needs and helping them participate in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing.
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A passion for caring for older people.
  • Previous care experience.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • A kind, warm, and caring nature, with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, using initiative when necessary.

The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive a competitive salary of £13.65 per hour, with a range of benefits, including:
