Senior Care Assistant Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our exceptional care home team in the Workington, Cumbria area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, delivering high-quality care to residents in purpose-built, en-suite accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to provide exceptional care to residents, enabling them to live their later life well.
  • Support residents with personal care needs and facilitate their participation in a wide range of activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Passionate about caring for older people.
  • Previous care experience.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • A kind, warm, and caring nature, with the ability to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative.
  • Patience, communication, and listening skills are equally important.
  • Maintaining accurate records, time management, and prioritizing tasks will also be strengths.
  • Ability to lead by example, form positive relationships, and energize colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
Benefits:
  • An excellent salary of £13.65 per hour, with an annual salary of £27,327.30.
  • A permanent, full-time role for 38.5 hours a week, working through nights.
