Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers, while ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Implement and maintain a robust Food Safety Management System, ensuring that all food handling and preparation procedures meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Staff Management and Development

Supervise and develop a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing training and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional food service.

Inventory Management and Budgeting

Manage the food and labour budget, ensuring that menus are delivered within budgetary constraints and that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Schedule cleaning and maintenance routines for all food services areas and kitchen equipment, ensuring that high sanitation and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience of working in a catering environment is essential, along with a Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality and a valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of online catering software packages and the ability to manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff.

Personal Qualities

A passion for delivering high-quality food service, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
