The role offers a comprehensive training program, starting as a support administrator, where you'll gain hands-on experience while building essential knowledge in financial products, investment strategies, and client relationship management. You'll have opportunities to work alongside experienced advisers, enhancing your skills in areas like cashflow planning, effective questioning, and client meetings.

Upon successful completion of a probation period, you'll begin a tailored exam schedule, guiding you step-by-step toward the qualifications needed for an advisory role.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a bonus structure, for this Trainee Financial Advisor role:

  • $40,000 - $60,000 per annum

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday
  • Office or home-based dependent on location

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Strong written, as well as verbal, communication skills
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Financial market and funds knowledge
  • Experience in a similar environment
  • University degree in Business/Finance related desirable

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Making appointments with clients and prospective clients
  • Research on the investment systems
  • Preparing of client annual review and follow up
  • Preparation of analysis of portfolios and funds
  • Insurance provider and product research
  • Process and procedure updates
  • Administrative and compliance duties, including preparing cashflow reports, new recommendation packs and suitability reports
  • (If Applicable) Exam training and schedule
