Job Description

As an experienced sustainability professional, you will play a key role in driving DS Smith's sustainability agenda forward as our Sustainability Manager (Forest and Nature). Located in Central London, you will be responsible for leading efforts to improve responsible sourcing across the business. With a strong understanding of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and its impact on our business, you will work closely with Group Legal and Government Affairs to ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. In-depth analysis of EUDR, No Deforestation, and their impact on our business.
  2. Supporting initiatives to improve responsible sourcing across the business.
  3. Collaboration with Group Legal and Government Affairs to understand the implications of these initiatives.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as forestry, biodiversity, and environmental policies. A degree in a related field is essential, along with demonstrable experience in one or more of these areas.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, you will benefit from a range of perks, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, life assurance, and income protection.
