Job Opportunity for QTS Teachers and Tutors

We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging QTS teachers/tutors to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. Our current placements involve working with pupils awaiting school placements, often in the home environment or local community. We have availability across Northamptonshire and are looking for tutors based in close proximity to this area.

Our demand for specialists in core subjects (English and Maths) has increased, and we have opportunities to support primary and secondary pupils. We welcome teachers from any background.

Pupils may require tuition for various reasons, including:

  • Behavioural difficulties (pupils excluded from school or awaiting a new placement)
  • Emotional needs, such as school phobia or anxiety
  • Medical needs
  • Improvement in grades
  • Support with GCSE preparation
  • Relocation and awaiting a school placement

Requirements

  • QTS or a minimum of two years teaching experience; ideally with a core specialism (English or Maths)
  • Experience working with primary or secondary-aged children
  • Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)

  • Face-to-face and online tuition options are available to suit your availability, with tuition available during the school day or after school.
  • Referrals to support primary, secondary, and post-16 students with subject-specific areas. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs, or alternate provision settings, or without a school place and awaiting a suitable school placement.
  • Bespoke online reporting platform - 24/7 access to log immediate attendance details, feedback, and assessments.
  • Online classroom platform - to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment, with all necessary tools and recorded for safeguarding purposes and revision.
