About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Bank Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Priory Group. As a Bank Nurse, you will have the flexibility to work on a variety of shifts and wards, allowing you to gain experience and expertise in different mental health specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care plans
  • Participate in daily meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NMC PIN and active registration as a nurse
  • Experience working in a similar clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and support
Expectations

We expect our Bank Mental Health Nurses to:

  • Work a minimum of 8 shifts per 4-week period
  • Be available to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Participate in training modules and maintain 95% compliance
  • Have a maximum of one cancellation within 72 hours of shift start in a 4-week period
