As a Bank Community Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients within their own communities. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive the support they need to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to support patient recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience in mental health nursing.
  • Strong crisis resolution and management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983, NHS, and Community Care Act 1990.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
