About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Treasury Leader to join our team at SmartestEnergy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and transforming our treasury function to support the company's growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liquidity Management: Manage the group's liquidity facility of close to £1bn, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Capital Management: Implement the group's capital management strategy to support growth and expansion.
  3. Working Capital Efficiency: Drive initiatives to improve working capital efficiency across the group.
  4. Treasury Operations: Develop and implement automation initiatives to enhance treasury operations and provide scalability.
  5. Centre of Excellence: Establish and lead a centre of excellence to support treasury functions across group entities.
  6. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including currency (settlement) and interest rate risks.
  7. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the treasury team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Requirements
  1. Senior Treasury Leadership: Experience in a senior treasury leadership role.
  2. Global Liquidity Management: Extensive experience in managing large-scale global liquidity facilities and working capital improvements.
