Head of Treasury Job Description

Job Summary:

Alexander Lloyd is seeking a highly experienced Head of Treasury to join a leading Global Telecommunications organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily treasury operations, developing and executing the FX strategy, and managing financial risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily treasury operations, including cash management and financial reporting.
  • Develop and execute the FX strategy to optimise foreign exchange transactions.
  • Monitor and manage financial risk, including interest rate and currency risk.
  • Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise cash management activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage a team of three direct reports in the treasury team.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including the Finance Director and CFO.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AMCT/MCT qualification.
  • Experience of re-banking a large complex organisation.
  • International treasury experience.
  • Proven experience within a large global organisation.
  • Team leadership and management skills.
  • Proficiency in treasury software, including TMS, banking platforms, and SAP.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
