About the Role

Inclusion, a specialist service provider, is seeking a qualified Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to join its team at HMP Stoke Heath. The successful candidate will work with adults with severe mental health problems, providing evidence-based interventions and planning care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with service users, families, and carers to develop care plans and deliver wellbeing-focused interventions.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to assess and manage risk.
  • Engage with service users in highly distressing or emotional circumstances, providing calm and empathetic support.
  • Develop and deliver psychologically informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles.
  • Attend multi-disciplinary reviews to monitor progress and support service users.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will hold a graduate certificate or postgraduate certificate in Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (Adult Specialist Mental Health) and have experience working with people with mental health needs. A lived experience of mental health issues is desirable.
