Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a caring and supportive individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term contract.

About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing specialist support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons for students with SEN
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum
  • Assist with the development and implementation of structured learning activities for students with SEN
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning activities and provide feedback to teachers
Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • Knowledge and procedures for supporting and leading learning activities in SEN
  • Successful relevant experience of working with children with SEN
  • Ability to devise and implement structured learning activities, under the direction of the teacher
