Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream school in Swale. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

About the Role:
  • Support children with SEN in a mainstream school setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure inclusive and accessible learning experiences
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group work to help children overcome learning challenges
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure consistent support and communication
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
