HSEQ Advisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our team at VINCI Facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing HSE expertise and guidance on incidents or events, assisting our operational team in minimizing risks, and creating, maintaining, and improving health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend monthly HSE meetings and deal with ongoing issues
  • Ensure compliance with HS&E legislation and health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Produce reports and identify remedial action, ensuring effective implementation of HSE Management Systems
  • Audit permit to work processes and COSHH assessments
  • Undertake incident investigations
  • Review risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
  • Monitor HSE standards across the Contract, identify, and implement improvements

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

  • Held a similar advisory position
  • Previously worked in an engineering or construction environment
  • Experience of delivering HSE training to operational staff
  • Proven knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality processes and legislation
  • IOSH or NEBOSH Certified
  • Must have worked in the UK for the last 5 years to clear vetting
