Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shift: 12 hours days / nights

As a key member of the Engineering & Manufacturing division at SF Recruitment (Leicester) Careers, we are seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a well-established global food business based at their Wirral site. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mix of reactive and planned preventive maintenance work, alongside continuous improvements and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding techniques on automated food manufacturing machinery.
  • Awareness of Production OEE's and strive to make improvements to the OEE's.
  • Routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery, ensuring all tasks are carried out and/or recorded in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in projects as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained or equivalent to level 3 (mechanical or electrical).
  • Working in a multi-skilled capacity.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing background such as food / FMCG, although other engineering backgrounds will be considered.
  • Experienced working on continuous improvement projects.
