Senior Paediatric Pharmacy Technician-Paediatric Intensive Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Paediatric Intensive Care pharmacy team at the Evelina London Children's Hospital Pharmacy. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in the safe delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients and the management of high-risk medications.
Main Responsibilities- Provide a pharmaceutical Medicines Management service to patients, including record-accurate written medication reconciliations, assessing patients' own drugs for suitability, and communicating detailed information to patients/carers.
- Participate in the dispensing and checking of controlled drugs, ensuring appropriate storage, accuracy, and record-keeping.
- Assist in the delivery of all aspects of storage, record-keeping, stock control, and stock rotation on the wards, dispensary, and specified Directorate.
- Responsible for the operational delivery of the medicine packs for the South Thames Retrieval Service (STRS).
- Assist in project work as required.
- Registered as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- NVQ Pharmacy Services Level 3 plus an accredited underpinning knowledge.
- Completion of or working towards a recognised Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
